tpc, South Vietnam understands all directions. Will proceed to destroy NV's credibility on the table with immediate effect.

RealVietnamBall tried, let's see if it succeeded though on the diplomatic front.

Just completed my turn for 1st half of 1954, is everybody else done though, tpc? Edit: *Waits for comrade Europyrealm to post his Chinese turn* Ah I see... We still have PRC for the 1st half of 1954 remaining.

No problem, it took me an hour (or an hour and half?) for mine. Take your time. Be thankful your position isn't that complicated as mine! LOL!

Just asking the GM... what sort of disruption can Europyrealm do to South Vietnam's government (besides a total shutdown which seems a bit OP)?

Just asking the GM... what sort of disruption can Europyrealm do to South Vietnam's government (besides a total shutdown which seems a bit OP)? I was thinking the same thing earlier today. Also, the country is fairly stable, it seems really overpowered for China that's miles upon miles from SV to just roll dice and claim that apparently SV is in anarchy now even when China hasn't really taken any real action

This is his first time playing something like this, so he needs help on what he can do. I thought the GM would be a more appropriate person to do that role, since the GameMaster is basically both a referee and a guide/teacher. I don't want PRC's actions to be nullified completely but lowered in OPness at a better level, to make it easier for him to figure out what he should do in the future.

Same thing, I am not complaining on a bunch of dice rolls, it's just I'd rather have him clarify the reasoning behind the rolls

For some reason, every time I tried to navigate this forum on the mobile, a spam pop-up appears despite of attempts with Ad-Blocker features on Safari. Yeppier. Cursed iPhone for me. True. I agree with you. I apologize if PRC action seems OP. That action can be edited with the same roll number but different result like halfway to anarchy or method of converting government. I could not think of "first step" toward government conversion. I'm all ears, man. EDIT: Wait a minute. according to GM: "4. Influence mechanic: simulates the power struggles between the agrarian socialist (pro-PRC) and the Marxist-Leninist (pro-USSR) factions in North Vietnam. Influence starts at 0 and a faction becomes dominant at +/-5. So it goes like this: -5-----0----+5 -5 being USSR dominant and +5 being PRC dominant. Successful USSR influencing is rated -1 and PRC +1. Dominance ensures NV toes a certain party line." It might mean PRC only can do either counter-espionage against opponent or influence TO NV only. No mention about to other nation using that influence mechanic..
