At the same time as I announce this, I've also completed and delivered the secret maps to each player. There's a couple names that had been left out of the maps, I'll update the master file on my laptop.

I really appreciate you guys coming through for me and gave me your set of orders, continuing to play. I hope each one of you are enjoying the feelings of the suspense and the adventure from phase to phase. Fall 1495 is due on July 19th in two days from now. Can't wait!

Took me a while to do this post via the phone.

I wasn't sure if my explaining notes wouldn't add some necessary clarification or not, but I felt it's best to be safe and write them than to leave them out.

As for the maps, I will need a day at most to send them out. You all should get a map in your inbox before tomorrow midnight Eastern Standard Time (actually 11pm for me in Central Standard Time).

Delivering the maps to your inboxes at the moment, I've finished them all in GIMP and Snipping Tool (standalone Windows program for screen captures).

I want get to the part where I announce that Portugal, England and Netherlands each has a build for Winter 1495. Ideally, if you guys can pop an order, I would be able to wrap up tomorrow including an update of Supply Centers totals, and then we proceed to Spring 1496 (goal: Running from July 22nd to 23rd, ending on the midight mark between 23rd and 24th). Good? Bad?

Again, an important reminder about deadlines... If anyone needs an extension for a phase, or there's a particular issue coming from RL, please PM me in advance. It's my job as the GM to make all of this work out.

The maps are also in your inboxes. The latest moves shows us that the two dwarves, Spain and France, are teaming up on the giant Portugal. But the pair of northern maritime powers aren't just letting their southern neighbors have all the fun. England and Netherlands are now at war, firing shots on both sides.

I'm intrigued to see what might happen in the near future, no lies.

Important poll: Do you guys wish to continue playing beyond July 27th, or is it a good time to end on that day? I'm asking because Overboss sent me this:

Note...
What it means if we ends early: We would have enough time for one more season (Fall 1496) then whoever has the most SCs wins.

To continue onward, as in resuming on Aug 10th then start rolling again, I would recommend that we continue for maybe 4 more years MAX (like say, ending on 1500, if counting this year 1496, then it's five years remaining at the moment).

Those two options aren't the ONLY options, I'm flexible and willing to hear what you guys think, of course.

We're officially in the phase of Fall 1496 Retreats in regarding to the Portuguese fleet being dislodged by the Spanish, but go ahead and send me your Winter 1496 orders as well if you have a build available (England & Portugal do). No rush, take your time.

Welcome back, Overboss! Hope your vacation was great, good to have you back. I'm hoping you're raring to go back into the game after the hiatus.

So everybody...
I've received early orders from some of you guys, so I can process some things in advance. I still need just one more thing before we can start Spring 1497. In the meantime, I will also upload the results of a retreat of Portugal tonight (only to Portugal himself and Spain, both who has units in that area). I'm planning on releasing the Winter 1496 results (including Fall Retreat 1496) tomorrow, then we will be all on the same page and can move forward to Spring 1497.

Last thing to announce: Keep in mind that the final year will be 1500, ending in the fall of that year. So that's 8 movement phases, 3 winter build phases before we complete this game.

Let you all know that I'm extending for one more day.

I know we have been sitting in place for about 2 weeks, so I'm hoping to give a player enough time to reacclimate and get back in the swing. If still nothing from him by one more day we will proceed forward anyway. I think it might be the best way to be fair about it in considering the hiatus as a factor.
