Let you guys know that it has been 20 days since Tyr has suddenly disappeared. I've already tagged, PMed him, etc... Something is definitely wrong. Maybe he feels he can't come back until things calm down in RL, who knows? Anyway, I've emailed him just now, let's hope there's some life left in his online persona. Fingers crossed, men, fingers crossed.

I believe standard dippy rules for resignation are for the country's units to just hold indefinitely, but it's fine either way. In fact, let's just let it stand as is.

Yeah, you can’t electively disband units in Dip. I’d just leave the units on the board and have them in a state of civil disorder, as per Dip rules.

Side note: after this game and a couple that I’m currently running complete, I’m going to GM a new variant set circa 1405.  The mechanics for it will be similar to “Ambition & Empire” with armed neutrals and a DP system. If you’re willing to do chat and orders via Discord, I’d be happy to have you. I’m not opening recruitment yet, but I thought I’d put the bug in your ear. |

I've already said this to Govorov, but it's well worth resharing it with everyone for their benefit.
"Among some of the preventative measures, one is putting up a temporary set of orders to the GM (and tell him that you might end up changing them later or leave them as it is). That prevent a total failure of submitting orders by accident."
