It would kinda make sense for the southern macedonia, with Greece possessing a slightly larger in every way "macedonia", other than being much larger in terms of territory owned by the ancient kingdom of macedon.
Of course the majority of Greece is not Macedonia, despite that being its largest single segment. Northern Macedonia, those brainwashed bulgarians (and the 25% creeping albania) can it say the same? maybe in the aforementioned macedon thing.
I saw a polandball comic once where northern macedonia agrees to change its name? and calls Greece the Former Turkish republic of Greece. In that case Northern macedonia was Turkish too though...
Eh enough rambling on that topic.

What do you mean? Alles Erdreich ist Mazedonien untertan, of course! Bulgaria would be 'Eastern Macedonia', Serbia would be 'Ultra-North Macedonia', Turkey would be 'More Eastern Macedonia', etc. Soon, the entire world would be called something on the variation of _____ Macedonia, just like ol' Alexander III would've wanted it! /s |
