you wanna spam the living hell out of it? Maybe just a little activity. Sort of a twice daily check-in. Unlike the PolHubs, TSR isn't my primary internet fix. it will become, whenever Bismarck's Alternate History starts.

For the sake of avoiding more mishegoss like what we've seen in roleplays past, I'll be staying out of RPs. Besides, I have another roleplay site to satisfy my creative drive.

I wonder how many sitting US Senators y'all can name... Truthfully, I've avoided W.DC related news lately. Except when it comes barging in and slaps me in the face and said something pretty stupid, then I roll my eyes in resignation at those news. So no CNN or Fox for me, or any of the mainstream media really. I have lost myself in playing various games lately like CivIII, They Are Billions, The Escapists, and Runescape. That's a TBS, RTS, a sim, and a MMORPG right there. If I force myself... I'm pretty sure I could name one or two without any peeking, but doubtfully more than that. Although if I'm allowed a look, I'm sure plenty more names would become familiar once again. Kinda defeat the point of trying to name a current member of the Senate.

Playing as Most Serene Republic of Venice in EU3... Byz got in my way, poking his nose where it didn't belong. I punished Byzball for his insolence, have a look - He's my vassal now. Forever unable to rise up against my command ever again.
Some context is needed. I had engaged Montenegro in a war of reconquest, reclaiming their land as rightfully mine because I have a core on it, zero infamy and Vaticanball is totally cool with it because Montenegrins being heretical Orthodox, and all that unam sanctum in the name of the holy mother church. The only ally of the pathetic little province of Zeta is Wallachia stuck on the wrong side of the Balkans, pfft.. I declare it shall fly a flag of St. Mark over the city before the year is out. Cool, we be cool, should be all perfectly fine, no? Being the bigger brother of the Orthodox brethen, Wallachia took up the leadership for the Montenegrin side, and called in HIS allies, one of them was naturally the weakling known as Byz. The last vestiges of the Byzantine Empire apparently had sufficient prestige and power to take up the mantle of leadership somehow. Thus forcing me to lay siege to Byzantium for nearly a year to conclude the war on favorable terms. So... forget that, if I'm taking down the great city of Constantinople, I'm going to take far more than just their dignity! So in the end, I did. #Fourth_Crusade_All_Over_Again

Aww, I liked the anachronism of an anarcho-syndicalist in 10th century Britain better. Poor Dennis being suppressed by King Arthur lol. I even rewatched that classic "Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail" when it came out on Netflix a couple of days ago. Still one of the best made movies to me.

I watched it on Netflix on the 11th. Fun times. Still, I felt like some change.

You're tempting me to switch to Dan Quayle in the future. A future, by the way, which will be better tomorrow.

On another note, I gave the Mamma Mia soundtrack a listen recently. It so reinforced what I remembered.
Take S.O.S, for example
Meryl Streep sings rather like Agnetha and Frida in the original ABBA recording. She gets the melody, the pitch, she even does the accent (of course she does the accent, she's Meryl Streep). Pierce Brosnan sounds like a Labrador Retriever being trapped under a towel.
Now, don't get me wrong, I love Pierce Brosnan, but the guy can't sing to save his life.
